Sungrow to expand electrolyser production capacity to 3GW
(Hefei, Anhui province) Sungrow began plant construction to expand its electrolyser manufacturing capacity in Hefei, Anhui province to 3GW on Nov 28th, 2023. The capacity expansion would be completed by 1H2024 and makes Sungrow one of the largest electrolyser producers in China and globally.
Sungrow has already have 1.5GW electrolyser production capacity in the facility in Hefei. As the domestic and international green hydrogen development is ramping up, the company makes the decision to step up capacity.

Sungrow is the 3rd largest electrolyser supplier in term of procurements in China’s domestic market, which signed contracts for 125MW electrolysers so far this year, after Peric Hydrogen and Longi, according to industry survey.
